About Hooplah... Well, after working eight years in the corporate computer environment, it was time for me to go out on my own!
I have resolved thousands of PC and printer issues for most of the major companies in the Louisville area. Just a few of them have included Republic Bank, American Commercial Lines, Kindred Healthcare, Jewish Hospital, Ford, Floyd County School System, Rohm and Hass Chemicals, Wal-Mart, Mid America College, University of Louisville, and Mills Supply Co.There are also corporations which I cannot mention per non-disclosure agreements, but they will provide you with references upon request.
I have also worked local, multi-state, and national levels in a wide variety of assignments including total onsite hardware and software migrations/updates of PCs, servers, printers, and network hardware. I've even trained technicians to work as a team completing migrations from Portland, Maine to Portland, Oregon! On a local scale I have built custom PCs for an entire company as well as individual customers, regularly cleaned viruses and spam from customer PCs, and created image files for fast PC repairs and deployment.
I have serviced just about every commercial HP and Lexmark printer on the market, as well as many consumer versions. So I took all this talent and experience, and decided to try it with my own company. I know the technical aspects, but I was not going to do all of this on my own.
Per starting my business, I obtained an expert at QuickBooks to train me in the accounting. Next I spent a month setting up the business licenses for KY and IN, obtaining insurance, and started local advertising. Then I contacted the local IT experts that I have worked with over the years, and I have worked with hundreds. I will sub-contract with the top ten percent as the larger projects require. They include software, hardware, and network experts in their field.
I offer years of professional service and repairs for printers and PCs. I also work with several companies including: TEK Systems and The Go2IT Group, so I can also bring in top talent including project management experts to get the job done right the first time and within budget.
But per all my years with the corporate experience, I also saw a "niche" per providing the same high level of service to small businesses who cannot afford long term service contracts. I look forward to resolving their problems as well! So that is why I decided to start Hooplah Technologies .
